Installation Guide

After the template has been downloaded and unzipped, follow these steps to add the template to your new project window:

1. Open Scrivener.
2. Go to File > New Project (if the window isn’t already open).
3. Click on “Options” in the bottom left corner.
4. Select “Import Templates.”
5. Navigate to your downloads folder where you downloaded the Starter Novel Template file.
6. Select the file. (Only the template can be imported not the example project).
7. Return to the New Project Window and Locate “Writing Mentor” in the left sidebar.
8. Double click the template to get started!
9. That’s it! You’re now ready to begin writing your novel using this amazing template.
